LeafMons

I'm finally getting round to installing these, connectivity documentation for these is non existent, but following that of the other mons I suspect it's as it should be.

So I've followed the setup "wizard" - telling it there's 6 mons etc, but it's not seeing them all. Occasionally, I've seen a couple of cells showing in the chart, but the network test fails due to timeout and/or with "acknowledgement different to setup" which obviously implies it's expecting to see something else via the setup wizard ?

Tx & Rx have connectivity, 6 leaf cells, all around 3.9v

I can only see 1 other system on here built using Leafmons, and that seems to have fired up straight away.

Can anyone spot what I'm doing wrong in the images below ? - I'm no stranger to systems like this, but my patience is waining with this one.

I have no idea why those images have been rotated, here's one of the other cells (probably also inverted)

The BMS is being installed on six single leaf modules simply to test.

After setting the number of cells did you sync the network?

Strictly following the instructions, it says to network test first, which it fails with the "acknowledgement different to setup"

I've since tried with just the one leaf module (2s) connected, and I'm still getting the same "acknowledgement different to setup" error during the network test, so I'm assuming I'm missing a setting.

Oddly, the LeafMon isn't an option in the hardware dropdown.

The answer to my issue is, the LeafMon is 2 devices in 1 package, so I was telling the wizard I'd got 6, when there's actually a pair per.

I wonder why the LeafMon isn't explicit mentioned in the dropdown - I've selected BlockMon M8, but I'm not sure if the various options are prepopulated dependant on user selection.

It's alive .......

I'll zip an image when I'm on a PC, thanks.

This image might help confirm for someone else ponderinghow these things are wired. The images on the Batrium site of these wired in aren't much help.

Ahh good! (That you got it working)
The other part lets get Batrium to clear that out in documentation.
