I just purchased 4 of these LG batteries from battery hookup. I'm wondering if anyone was able to get a BMS to communicate with the data port in the front of the battery or i have to do something like David poz on YouTube did.
Thanks.

I don't think anyone ever figured out reusing the wiring built into those units, since they were designed for high-voltage stacks with a central BMS controlling the whole rack of them. If it has been sorted, I'm unaware.

Is BH still selling those? I regret not buying some a couple years ago, but I don't see them on the website. For a while someone was liquidating pallet loads of them that were in a flooded facility. Bottom units were damaged, but upper units in the racks were fine.

Cheers, John
