But at this rate in one decade you will get money extra if you want lifepo4.
The two reasons i think that they are getting so cheap is they want to get rid of them for a new chemistry: sodium based in this format.
Also trump and China are not the best friends right now.
Sodium based (your kitchen or life stock salt) are pretty cheap to make and they can use the same machines.
I think in 5 years from now you cannot even buy lifepo4 anymore only sodium based.

Yeah, home storage is going to be pushing LFP's cheaper and cheaper as it develops. About the only place to find LFP is gonna end up being small spaces where higher energy density is still required.
I just got my 314Ah cells last week. I paid about $900USD total for 16 cells, $56/cell. Mine are actually Grade A SOEC cells. Pretty solid overall. No issues with them so far.
