I got a bunch of these (maybe 10% of total packs?) from the 4x modem 2200mAh (primarily LG/Samsung) on batteryhookup. They are terrible. LG/Samsung test 2100-2300. These test 1600-1700 and suffer a large voltage drop at 1A and heat beyond ~4.15V charge. These really have no use...only idea I have is to build a huge pack with all of them to power an adjustable standing desk (so I can make it easily mobile around the house).

edit: those made in Canada fare slightly better than those in Taiwan.

I had one (recovered from a pack, the only left alive), used it for flashlights for a couple of years.

I got 9 of them from laptop battery. 2 of them had internal short circuit and rest are terrible. with 1A discharge i got 300mAh capacity. with 0.15A discharge i got 1500mAh and it is close to nominal capacity.

I have to agree with you guys, I got some of those and they are terrible. The best from like 5 packs (4 /pack) had capacity of 1600 mAH. The rest < than 1000 mAH.

I got about 250 4 cell modem packs from batteryhookup and batteryclearinghouse. About 15% of them were these. Most of them test around 1800-2000mAh almost none of them will charge over 4.1V. They just start making heat over that voltage.

Quite a few of them have a self discharge problem as well. Most of them are garbage IMHO. They have such a high failure rate I feel none of them can be trusted in my power wall. I would have been much happier even with the old green G5 Sony cells that you get in these modem packs.

I have a bunch of these and they all(90%+) test over 80mohm IR so I am rejecting the whole lot. My only hesitation is if this is a similar situation to the Sony GR cells where if I had a pack with only the Moli I could still use them, but then again is it worth it? Anybody played around with these on there own in a pack? Based on the various comments above I imagine it would have to be maximum voltage of 4vdc for the pack and low amp load but what about SelfDischarge cells?
