MPP Solar Charger Inverter

Hello everyone.

I'm thinking about purchasing a MPP Solar2424LV-MSD charger/inverter and want it install it in my office.

My question to the forum - Has anyone purchased this unit and if yes how loud is it. I want it in my office on the wall but it the fan(s) are going to loud then I have to think about another solution.

I don't have one, but I guess the MPPT part is completely passive and the fan is only for the inverter part. If it has a proper fan control, which I assume it has, then the fan will come on at certain loads and increasing temperatures. I don't know how loud it will get, but these devices are generally not meant for an office environment. They are better placed in a separate tech room or something like that.

They are loud when you use them. Idle then they are quite quiet. Its not something I would have in a room where you live.

mine is in my office and i hardly notice it, but i don't run it at more than 25% load normally. I also run a lot of fans too cause my office stays pretty warm.
