Need help identifying these cells

Hello Everyone
I'm currently in the slow process of getting enough cell batteries to be able to build my first pack of cells.
Most of the laptop batteries I have scavenged have pretty standard LG or Samsung cells, but yesterday I opened a battery from an old Toshiba laptop and I can't seem to find out any info about these cells or their composition.

The text on the cells is "JEQFJT5 112087"
If anyone has any info about these cells, I'll appreciate your comments:

They look like Sanyo. Are there any other markings on the wrapper. It can be difficult to see

Or, is it possible there is writing on the shell itself that the wrapper is hiding?

It looks like they're 18650GA 3500mAh cells. You have a crazy good deal /joke

Looking at the orange/red PTC, they look like Sanyo UR18650F 2200mAh cells, as they are the only cells which have a orange-red PTC around the positive terminal.

I have found that with some red cells there is a number or code stamped into the red plastic sleeve. These are very hard to see but if you get a black crayon and rub itover the text gently it will make the text legible. Thecodes that you have listed above are, as far as I can tell, meaningless.

Indeed, they have the marking "J25A" but I did not consider that an important detail since I wasn't able to find anything with that search parameter.

Nope, just that "J25A" label which seems to be markeddirectly into the wrapper, not printed with ink.

That is a possibility althought I would like to see if I can identify the battery type without having to unwrap them. I'll probably end up having to unwrap one of them.

That's what I was guessing. Too bad I haven't heard anything good about these batteries though...

I have a ton of these. I think they are Sanyos. a lot of burners. I have very few of these in the 2200 mah and above.
