I have installed the new preview release 2.17.9 on my WM5 as I really like the new Ramp feature for CAN enabled inverters - See: https://support.batrium.com/article/35-understanding-the-watchmon-control-logic-remote-settings

I have noticed however some changes in behaviour with the new software and was wondering if anyone else had noticed.

For example, my cell voltage now seems a LOT more stable. In previous versions, my cell voltages would update constantly, now thou, they seem very stable. Even in the telemetry -> Live Stats view the cell voltages rarely change - My guess is the system is now averaging voltages over a longer period of time - However this doesn't seem to be mentioned in any of the release notes. It's a concerning change, given nothing in the notes.

Perhaps there are some here that have played with the new ramped targets feature? I'm struggling to work out the UI - Specifically the #low SOC% value - I've written to Batrium no less than three times asking them to clarify it and they haven't been any help. I guess I will need to play around with it while my battery is full to try and work out what it does.

Thanks. The new settings are only for inverters that support their current / voltage being set by the BMS via CAN. (My Victron). :) handy If / when it works.

Peter, did you find your cell voltage readings changed dramatically with this new version?

mine went from being quiet sensitive to being very ‘stable’

Honestly, I used to get every beta version for testing but lately - I really don't care about batteries much.. If it looks like it's working i'm good.. Never spend the time i used to monitor it. (watching it like TV)

I don't suppose I'd care much either if I processed as many 18650's as you!

Mini's are SO much fun but not worth filming - I'll get back to it soon, I do miss the interaction I get from tubing..
