New ? IR meter BA1020

ALL NEW - Battery Finder Search for 12/24/36/48v or by capacity www.batteryfinder.net

Can anyone help me with these connections.
I have no Aether battery holder.

From Aether manual:
Aviation head model GX16; The wire sequence is: 1.2 negative; 3.4 positive

From RC3563 wiki:

looks like 1,3 are negative and 2,4 are positive
so Aether BA1020 is not compatible with RC3563 ?

Here are the pinouts of the RC3563 and BA1020. They both have identical connections internally.
Pins 1 and 4 voltage sensing.
Pins 2 and 3 Resistance sensing.
If the pins don't match up the they need to be changed acordingly.

As far as I am concerned the internals of the meter show " POW+ S+ S- POW-"
That translates in any language to POW = Voltage. So POW+ is Voltage + and POW- is Voltage -
And S = Sense for me that means Sensing of IR so S+ goes to the plus side and S- goes to the minus side.

The connector on the BA1020 is arranged as such at least on my BA1020

So putting it all together The pinout of the GX16 Male is as illustrated. I do not care what others may say the wiring does not lie.

The female plug and cell holder whatever the wiring may be has to be adjusted to match the male pinout, that's the important part.
In my case the female plug was wired as such which matches the male and the cell holders connections.

Now if m BA1020 is wired different than others I do not know as I only have 1.
But to verify your correct wiring 6 phillips head screws and the BA1020 comes apart very easy.
And you can do your own investigation.
In the final analysis you need 2 voltage sensing contacts and 2 IR sensing contacts. and all they have to do is match the meters wiring
Simple.

@Wolf do you have original Aether battery holder ?
Why yes I do. I always order all the accessories with every IR meter. Since the Aether BA1020 doesn't serve my purpose though, as the RC3563 is my go to default, I have repurposed the holder for another job.

I have both battery holders now: RC3563 and BA1020
Originally they are connected as on photos.
Pins 2 and 3 are changed between them.
