Awesome thread dude, my only concern would be heat. I've thought about putting mine in the conservatory but the heat this summer has been insane and think I'd be to scared to have it in here with everything closed when I go out. Hows yours doing for temperatures?
Also as this is off grid you said is it powering purely mining equipment? Hopefully those PCI risers arent powered off of a SATA connection that is a huge fire hazard and they aren't rated for the Amps that pass through them, cant really tell on the picture
If you need cooler air for inverter, run some flex exhaust vent conduit from the unit to fresh/cooler air. The fans should pull plenty through those. Something like this
Dryer Vent Kit. There's another one that's made of white rubber like material that's used for exhaust for bathrooms but I can't seem to find that one. It's cheaper.
As for the SATA power connectors, the ones causing fires are specific. It's the ones that have the wires terminate in the plug itself, if I remember correctly. And then it's the ones that are at right angles, again if I remember correctly. There's a guy on youtube that did an xray of a fail and non-failed plug and showed what happens. It's not the current that it can't handle. It's usually that the wires inside are so close together they cause a short, but it's low enough the PSU won't shut off.
