New option for repackr

I know Jeff was pushing out an update, he may have been merging his staging branch with the live branch when you landed on the site. Apologize for the inconvenience, glad it's working now!
"Working"

Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).

Both Firefox and Edge gives same result.

Just tested in both of those browsers and they both work totally fine. If you are actually having a problem, feel free to send a screenshot of your browser's console so we can see what the problem is. Current build of the pack builder is tested in Firefox, Brave, Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Safari and all work perfectly fine.

If you're using the site frequently you may have a locally cached version of the previous build that did have an error. You could try clearing cache to see if that fixes it.

I changed nothing, and now it's working. Strange. I do however see the affect you mentioned, it does store a cached version so updating values and pack configuration have no effect after the first generation.

For sure - the way we serve the site involves a lot of caching. The entire website is served via a CDN and a lot of it gets cached in the browser. Definitely leads to some strange behavior with some folks who are on the site frequently not receiving updates as fast due to local cache.

I may look into preventing some of the browser-side caching.

This shouldn't be happening, updates to values and configuration should change the outcome of the pack. Looking into it now, although if this is actually happening, it can likely also be solved by clearing browser cache/application data.

Edit:

Using the "Go back" button and changing values and then re-generating a pack is working fine for me. Same thing with a refresh of the page. Results update to new values as expected.

Cent Browser

Hey. The site just does not open: Chrome, Cent, Tor - https://tools.cellsaviors.com/pack-calculator
Ahhh, ok. So not Repackr. Sorry, I didn't look at the original post, just the Thread title.

Yeah, it's not loading for me either. I get timed out.

Alrighty, figured it out. They've updated the site.
It's no longer: https://tools.cellsaviors.com/pack-calculator
but instead it's: https://cellsaviors.com/pack-builder
There's also: https://cellsaviors.com/pack-planner

This option has been working though:

My buddy and I built a new tool to replace repackr since it hasn’t been updated in a long time. It’s https://tools.cellsaviors.com/pack-calculator we are open to feedback and using that to make it better over time! Also, we’re going to release more tools over time. Love to hear what everyone thinks!
I could not open the link. I have a friend that created an excel spreadsheet that you enter the capacity, series/parallel info and it creates the packs. The nice thing is you can add capacity data while you are testing. I wonder if he can add internal series resistance into the mix. I will ask him.
