Guys in Australia, I have a queries, all the opus bt3100 chargers I have been able to find both on Amazon, and eBay, and a few other sites I use, not 1 of them have an au plug, that are all either us or EU plug configurations, how do u get around this, obviously formthe EU config, justchange the plug on the end?, Use an adapter? I was thinking of starting with just the 1 for the time being, but as time gets on I'll probably just get an extra cpl and hard wire them in a group like the board Pete had from a mate in 1 of his vids...but for time being.......

Don't use the included power brick and use a computer power supply and wire that in. That's what most have done. It allows for easy expansion and no need to add additional adapters. 1 Power Supply, 1 Plug

Hey Terry,
I'm in AU. I only have one opus and just use the plug adaptor. Not ideal but gets the job done ?

If checking the power input states it accepts 110V-220V (or 110V-240V) then it can switch easily between US and EU/AU voltages so it's just a matter of plugging in the right adaptor to suit AU wall plugs.

If it only says 110V then it'll blow up plugging into AU wall. So you need to verify if it can auto switch the between the mains voltages. Alternatively you can just buy the unit and find a 12V 3amp (orlarger currents is fine, 5A, the unit will drawl only what it need unless it has a short circuit :p) and it'll work just fine.
Make sure of course that it's positive tip not negative top otherwise it'll with blow up the unit or the unit has a diode protection and not turn on at all.

So, new adaptor with 12V 3+A supply and positive tip if you're planning on getting a replacement adaptor to better suit AU needs.. and looks better without the clunky adaptor.

Something to note with the opus charger is that they don't fully charge cells in my experience.
I often top them off in my digital charger 4s, or nitecore i4 before discharging/ testing.

Thanks guys.
Tremors, already aware of the different voltages an so on, (father in-law is sparky, so he is sounding board as well),
Wattsup, was thinking same bout plug, and as for opus not topping them off, I have read others here saying opus was better and more reliable than.nitecore, so I guess time will tell,
Korishan, nice idea, think I'll keep it in mind for when I get some more

I dont really care if they top of or not. Im not using the cells from the charger itself. I only use the Opus to determine if they have a decent "number" and where in my packs they are placed.

Though i have seen packs beeing overcharged with Opus so instead of topping of i would say that they go to the voltage they are set on. And they are quite inaccurate so as always on cheap chargers you need to check the voltages!
