Hi all,
I have got the BMS's from China ( and the hybrid inverter charger has arrived ) and have attached them as per what I've found on the internet. I have received 13s bms's when i need 12s bms's.
I have scoured the internet to find out whether or not ive just been had for £600 as i will never get the money back, but alot of people have said their DALY BMS can have the last wire also placed on the last cell in order for the BMS to 'wake up'.
When I connected originally the B- on the BMS and the main + on the battery showed 48.8 volts going across but only 21.3v when connected to the P-?? No one seems to know why, except most have commented about shorting the P-and B-, didn't work, connecting it to the PC, done but doesn't read the bms.
I've definitely got the connections correct and in the correct order as checked on the bms plug in. I've tried 2 other of the 7 BMS's I received but they show the same result.
If I need to 'wake it up' are there any suggestions please? I take it I cannot connect it to my hybrid inverter to charge them as the voltage is only showing 21.3v and so might cause some damage to the inverter charger or the bms or the battery pack??
Any help always grateful.

P- shorted to B- does nothing both are negitive poles of the same battery. Ant bms's have a momentary switch between positive and C/P-. Last positive on balance wires shorted to P- should work to wake up the bms., The problem with needing a 12S and getting a 13S might be solved by wiring the last two balance wires to cell 12. But might not work.
