Qnbbm balancer question

Hey guys,
I got 7 qnbbm balancers today and they work, but they make a really loud high frequency sound.

Is that normall?Send them back?

Any suggestion what other system to take? Maybe a complete BMS with balance funxtion?

Thats the same with all loud noises..... just wait long enough.... (chuckle).

It is a complete BMS with balancer, cheap ( 30 $), seems to work quite well, as far as i have tested it, works from App and PC, is extremely flexible because you can change nearly just every parameter you want.

But, the App is just terrible in terms of operational surface.....
and the balancing current is quite low. But, for appropriate batteries i guess its enough.

I think they are potted in epoxy.... (if not, then maybedo that?)

They are in epoxy yes. Dont insulate them more because they get hot when used.

if you dont like the sound just get better balancers directly or a proper bms.

Maybe look at how much balancing is happening & why - maybe balance the packs capacities & look for any self discharging?

In your video you recommended the qnbbm balancers (thx for the nice video, it was very helpfull ), so which active balancers are in your opinion better?
I don't want to buy a bms, because I developed one myself on the basis of a Raspberry. It's quite simple, it's checking the pack voltages and the temperatures of each individual pack. If something is wrong with the temperatures or voltages, it will disconnects the whole battery from the rest of the system.
I can also watch the data live on my smartphone and webbrowser. The cost was about 100, mainlyfor the raspi and the power relay.

There is no balancing at all. The balancer makes this awfull sound in its normal state.

There arent that many other balancers out there that only do balancing like above do. Above is one of the better stand alone units.
Most active balancers are complete with BMS functionality in my world.

There are a few others around on Ebay and such but I havent tested them myself.
