I see how you do this for threads. Is it possible to do this for individual members who have helpful as well. Or is that done by rating their threads? I have not found a way to do it for individual members.
correct me if I'm wrong ...
there are two main ways of rating a forum member, in terms of 'reputation' scoring. either by their profile, or via one of their posts. To see the difference click on the profile of another member -- or your own. you will see that the TOTAL reputation is make up from COMBINING these two sources. deciding on which to use depends is your choice.
For instance I have watched HOURS of HB's yt videos before joining this forum, so Igave a rating via profile. Other members have helped me IMMENSELY in a single post, in which case I rate
them via that post's rate button -- not to be confused with rating the
post as Mike spoke of, above -- to help them know what kind of post is blowing peoples minds.
the reputation rating is my personal stat, which I take pride in. I try to make a POINT of ALWAYS up'ing those that both led me to this forum + 'hobby'. Also respecting those that I have met and learned from since arrive here. how much is your life worth? you can at LEAST 'rate' the member here who saved it. more than once. come on ... we all know this is tricky stuff ... just say thanks ... rate those members that are safe, love life, and have shared that with you.
simple! right?!?
