I have a written off Renault zoe with the battery system all intact
I want to use the battery potential to power my house both from PV and low cost grid charging at night
My plan is to divert and unused roof power to the battery and top up using cheap night time energy through the cars own three phase charger
I intend to leave the car fully intact and parked outside probably covered up... the onboard bms and battery conditioning should take care of the batteries without
any work. I have only two problems... problem one is does anyone know whether I can simply connect to the HV pins of the ccs connector to extrac power?
But I guess the hardest problem (and I have searched hard on here) is what inverter to use??? my existing inverter is a SolarEdge 10kw 3ph grid tied inverter fed from panels on the roof, I wish not to disturb that, Ideally I need a 3 phase ac connected battery grid tie inverter??? depending on cost I suppose I could use three single phase grid tie inverters, but not knowing how to communicate across the CAN/RS485 leaves me at a loss, the inverter would be fine at around 5Kw a phase.
I also need the inverter/s to not feed to the grid, grid limiter set at 0
Many thanks in advance to any help you can provide, we live on a farm and heating oil is all about at bankrupting proportions
I attached a proposal I sent to solar edge, but the came back with same old it wont communicate... thier units are perfect I just need a way to fool the RS485 remember I don't need any charging protocol as its all taken care of by the car
