Hi everybody!

Does anyone know how to interpret the date code on the latest Samsung INR18650-29E cells?
Searched the forums and tried the online "date code readers" but had no luck.

I found this, for INR 25R cells:

Following it says "on the cell metal can":

Fake rebrand.
No such thing as "T" date code for originals. Last char must be a number.
The "4" means 2014.

Interesting! I have some 350 cells of these. They are all harvested out of electric bikes. I have CDC tested (1 A) about a hundred of them and IR is consistent at 23.xx mOhm and capacity is between 2775 and 2950 mAh. The electric bike packs have manufacturing dates from late 2019 and the brand of the electric bikes is Cresent, one of the top three manufacturers in Sweden. I removed the shrinkwrap of one cell and there is five groups of markings:

E9IE
BE341

B02

W23

Q1E5
Q1E5

If these were fakes, why would I get these results? I don't think these are fakes, but that's me. What do you guys think?

If it's a rebrand it does not mean it is a bad cell.
I've seen plenty of LG C4 rebranded as HE. 2800mAh instead of 3000 and lower discharge max current; other than that 100% LG original, but they were not HEs.

@italianuser
You still can't have a "T" in there.
