I'm sick of the crappy springy cell holders you find everywhere. Want to get a bunch of the kind usually found on cell testing devices. What are they called or where can I get them?

I.e. not these:

Nor these:

But the kind found on this:

I have seen some holders that may interest you -

This oneor perhaps this one. I have no idea how easy they are to use - though I have seen some on youtube - can't seem to find them at the moment.

Otherwise you may have to take Floyd's suggestion.

I must admit, springy holders are a PITA.

I wonder how hard it would be to build one. Some perspex and cone ended grub screws. It would not have to be quite so complex, given it only needs to take one battery size.

:C

I suppose I'll keep searching for a while more before ordering a bunch of chargers I'll have to take apart.

Thanks for the replies!

I made my own holder using 12AWG house wire bent in a curve sticking out of a wood base. Great contact easy to get in and out

Cheap assumes low quality. I don't think you qualify as low quality.

Perhaps frugal is more appropriate? :D

Every time I get something half built someone comes up with a better component to use ;-) From above these look great and cheap, perfect to mount a TP4056 to. ttps://www.ebay.com/itm/10x-US-Smart-Un...Sww85aV6bQ

@floydR: Nope, that didn't work. You don't have the whole url to complete it. the "..." is included in the search. ebay returns a lot of nuts/bolts/wires/siemens/etc and some other stuff

We need the complete URL to fix this, not part of it.

we need to have how to paste an url in FAQ
The urls are automatically shortened No need to shorten them yourself.
The url is shortened on the display only when you click on it ,it will go to the whole url. Only the clickable link is displayed

sorry about that Korishan I was thinking that the h was removed and that was all.
