[SOLD ]Victron Multiplus 48/5000/70 - 30 units

One of the companies I am dealing with has a large number of Victron Multiplus 48V / 5000VA / 70A.
These were purchased for a project that didn't take off and are being cleared away.

Having read in detail, this can be used to create AC couple battery storage especially useful for those with standard solar PV installs that install Grid tie inverters and feed the grid.

There are approximately 30 units. I plan to purchase one for myself.
Price I have been give is 700 + VAT + freight

That comes to 700 + 140 + 35 or 875 delivered.

This is what Victron say on their page
The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It has all the features of the MultiPlus, plus an external current transformer option to implement PowerControl and PowerAssist and to optimize self-consumption with external current sensing (max. 32A).
It also has all the features of the MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an increasingly long list of country approvals.

Note: for a short period of time this product was called MultiGrid-II.

I was told that they are not willing to deal with arranging freight outside UK. Having said that they are open to you arranging collection.

No but you can arrange for courier like DHL to collect and deliver to you.

Besides your 18650 powerwall, do you have additional battery storage or are you signed up with Octopus for 5p / kWh export tariff ?

Hi Dave, no additional storage. DIY powerwall is working great. I'm on the Agile export tariff, so generally get around 10p/kWh between 16:00 & 19:00. Tend not to export from the battery outside of this time as not worth stressing the battery for little gain.

This is very common for international freight at the moment. I have been shipping a lot of things recently and a 2-3week delay through Europe is common and well over an extra month if shipping from further afield like China on any of the 'normal' shipping services - I have something coming from a seller in China who said it would be faster as they use "international express freight" but I find the AliExpress sellers to say all kinds of things that never happen.

Airlines around the world are crippled, you just have to wait and make sure you insure to the full value of the items.

I ordered something from eBay that was dispatched from Germany. It took almost a week to get it delivered that was on DHL 48 hour shipment
