Storaga voltave vs Full charge

Hi All,

Im in the process of select a decent BMS and reading through the details some of them recomend to connect the BMS to cell charged to 3.7 instead of full charge...

which is your experience in this matter.

First time I hear that. But many recommend connecting from the "bottom" up, ie. connect the most negative connector first, then the 2nd most negative, etc.
But of course as always, best to follow whatever the manufacturer recommends.

Just get a smart bms or one with settable values. Most decent bms systems can do this.

Note that a BMS is not a charge controller. Voltages you charge to is set in the charger and discharge voltages you set in the load/inverter (If its programable)
