Hey Guys,

I'm searching for a Switching Power Supply with a wide AC Input Voltage Range.

Input Voltage should be around: AC 85-265V (Plus or Minus 10-40v).

Output Voltage: 12v or 24v or more

Power Provided: 1000-9000 watts or more.

A CISCO Power Supply (APS-172) with about 2800W - refurbished unit can be gotten below 50USD.

I'm searching for something around the same or at most double the price range.

Any Ideas?

Meanwell do some very large units, the older the better.

I have had good results bysearching for LED Driver switchmode Power Supplies on Amazon, Digikey, or Mouser. Searching for LED driver narrowed the results down to what I was looking for. My notes and sample power supplies are at the shop now and I am at home but I think two of the brands I found were meanwell, and Sun Key. I have a lot to remember when I go to the shop tomorrow, but I will try to remember to grab the my notes, and info and post it here for you.

Okay, I brought home a sample power supply that was given to me. It is a Sunsky S-720-24, and it is available direct from Sunsky and I think from Amazon or Alibaba.I haven't tested it yet, so I can't tell you how well it performs. I am looking for a 48V 1200W or 1500W powersupply myself, but I did searches for Sunsky S-720-24 on Google and Amazon and I got lots ofusefulresultsby searching for similiar items to the Sunsky.

Right now the 24V Sunsky will let me test all my stuff, so I don't have to buy the 48V for a while. But if I had to buy one right nowI would buy a 48V 25A 1200W LED Driver Switching Power Supplyby Meishle

Hope this helps you and good luck searching

Riplash: either just paste the URL as it is, or you must put something between the brackets. you can't leave it blank

Go for two of the 6000W Cisco unit. They have dual power input sockets.

I have two of the 4200W units, which I use (only a small 1200W each due to issues in the link above)

The 4200W Cisco units would have been so perfect if they accepted a wide input voltage range.

I don't need either a 110v or 220v switch (is that what the6000W Cisco unit got?), I need something that can take in 85 - 300 AC like Charly144's eltek for example.

Do you know of any ServerPower Supplies with that high output wattage like 6000W but with a wide input voltage range? If yes, whats a Part Number Please.

Curiosity has got the better of me. I must ask, what is the application. And why is your power source 85-300v?
