Swollen prismatic cells from ebike, any use?

Two packs waiting for well over a year for disassembly finally had their meetup with my angle grinder to get the aluminium casing open. Inside were prismatic cells, about 14x6x1 cm in size. Swollen, but very consistent 3.6 V across all cells.





What are they?
Are these of any use?

I too have a large bunch of these. They seem to have thick metal casing, but most have a slight bulge.

Nope, just sitting on them, not tested as yet. Been trying to find specs.

Get a cheap lipo from something and stab it or hook it up to a 12v battery and let him see. Or show him something on YouTube to the same effect and let him know that's what's in his 3DS.
