Using the SM8124A was always inconvenient to use, the wires are sturdy, a bit to short and you need more hands than 2 to use it with speed.
So I made this simple rig for you guys and girls to enjoy, and maybe someone can use the idea as well.

In the video you can see how it is used, but there is looks a bit awkward because I only had one hand available due to the filming.
With two hands you can test the IR of the cells very fast.
The cutout in the bottom ensures that you can never short the positive side of the battery.
And when placing the cell with two hands, the contact is 99% of the time accurate and the weight of the upper arm is sufficient for measuring.

And yes i know, not the best cells are used in the video.

Best regards,
Maarten

That's pretty good. Even means you can keep the tester connected while you write down the results w/o having to remember what they were after the test (and/or decrease the chance of dyslexia moments)
Also allows for a constant consistent pressure with all tests. Pretty neat! 😎 (y)
