I would imagine that the weight difference is from a few different things.
1) different material for the case
2) less plastic used in the case
3) less solder on the pcb (note the picture above)
4) obviously less pcb material (note the picture above)
5) less capacity cells
6) and i would hazard a guess that the metal used (wire and strips) are smaller gauge than the authentic pack is too
And that changes a lot because with AU$300 the choice was obvious and not in favor of genuine battery (at least for me) but at AU$200 MAYBE I'd take it if i used it in a high-current device. But even at AU$150 it's still overpriced, imho...the price has come down from 299AUD to 199AUD
