The Cell Database is a great place to find out what Your salvaged Cells can do, but sometimes we get strange cells with unknown markings and no data.

However, if we combine efforts, we might be able to make some kind of Data available for everyone to see.

I suggest we make a Cell Database for all the Cells that has no Datasheet and as we come across these cells we post our findings in this base.

Data to contribute: Tested Cell Capacitiesat 1 Amp from full charge ,4.21 Volts.
Most of Us have chargers/testers that can set the discharge current to 1 Amp. Discharge to 3.0 V or 2.8 does not make a lot of difference, so I would not differentiate.
Cell age: sometimes the Battery Pack from which You retrieve the cells have a date code or maybe even the cells themselves.

With say 50 results in, we can pretty accurate guess the original cell ratings.

I thought about making own datasheets as well. Sadly your idea doesn't make much sense because all these cells are different in the first place. Because many of them have probably already been used and rewrapped none of them are ever the same. It is nearly impossible to make a datasheet for these cells. At least if you want it to be meaningful.

If we still want to try this then proper discharge curves would be helpful.
