Hey guys so I've been on the hunt for an 48v hybridinverter for my off grid solar/18650 build and I have mainly been looking for something located in the US. I cant seem to find much except some unbranded red ones. I can order from over seas if absolutely needed but I was hoping someone would have a good source from something state side. Thanks!

Awesome! Just got pointed to the MPP site over on the Fb group! Looks like its time to get an order together for an LV5048

Just wanted to drop in and say I have LV2424's. I am set up in my RV with it, and absolutely love it. I am also building my dad a system based on the same, but his will be LiFePo4 based battery.

Go for the MPPSolar, and you will not look back. The only bad part is that they are not UL listed. So keep that in mind.

[size=small]Thanks for the input! I believe Ill be ordering one of the LV5048s coming in on the next run. UL listed isnt a concern as I wont ever be tied to the actual grid with this system, as the inspiration for my build. What size bank do you have for your RV? We are converting a 31ft camper into a tiny home ourselves

Was it in stock? I plan to call on monday and see myself

I ordered mine directly from MPP. I just sent them an email andPeggy was the person who completed my order. It should take about 20 days to arrive, so hopefully around early May I should receive it.

Awesome man thanks for the update! Im also looking into some bigger AIMs options, my deadline just got pushed back a year due to work so Ill have some more time to really get this system beefy before its up and running. May even get a 3kw mpp to use my 10kwh pack now to build the tiny home as Im looking into building another 14s240p to run a 12k AIMs inverter now that we have the time and will have a shipping container on sight to designate to solar

My inverter was shipped Friday and it should arrive next Friday!

It just arrived stateside!

Just joined this group and so far its been a great source of info.

I ordered up my Split Phase LV2424 (The Green One) a few weeks back and waiting on delivery to the US.

I know I have ran across this info before but I can't seem to find it now. Does anyone know what the battery input voltage range is for this unit? I will be building a 18650 pack but I can't decide if I need a 7S or 8S.

The PIP (Non Grid-Tie) version of this inverter shows a max battery voltage of 31v but doesn't list a minimum.

Thank you fokes, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you order two lv2424's I will be building a 18650 pack but I can't decide if I need a 7S or 8S.'s? For split phase you need two as they are 120v but are split phase capable
I believe that 7s is the one to make unless lifepo4 then 8s
later floyd

I ordered just a single unit to start off with and if It goes well, I will get get the 2nd unit with the parallel kits for a true "240 split phase"

The 7S config should give me a voltage range of about 20-29v give or take. I think the LV2424 can handle up to 31v but I don't know what the minimum is. I can't imagine its less then 19v?

I just installed a Sol-Ark last week. This thing is awesome. Really customizable through programming, so many options. A bit on the expensive side, but if you're going to use it as an all in one (it has DC solar options, battery, grid tie, generator, generation dependent load switching, etc. etc all built in), OR if you think you need to survive an EMP, I don't think it can be beat. Also it's pretty much the most powerful option out there, it can start my 5 ton single stage A/C unit on battery power, which nothing else can.
