Vape/smoking gadget battery

Hello guys,

Can anybody help me with info regarding the battery in the attachemnt, it's from those vape/smoking gadgets.I got it from a recicler, actually i got a couple, they have 1700-1900ma cap, but extremelly powerfull, shorted them while full charged and can deliver in excess of 20amps, the limit of my amp meter. He had like a full barrell of those and think i can get them at a beyter price thanpacks of laptop batteries.I'm currently working on a 3kw powerwall and i was wondering if i can use them. Guess that they are quite dangerous without the safety maesures of clasic 18650.

Hope that the vast experience of diyers around here can shed a bit of light on my problem.

youd have to unwrap it to see what's inside
 
It almost looks like a round pouch cell. Be careful when working with it if you plan to remove the sleeve just in case it is pouch.

Can you confirm by pressing in the center that it's solid like metal and doesn't give any? If so, then you may be safe working on it.

It does seem to have something round in the center. I'll have to see if i can make some sort of holder just like AverageJoe did.
 
Looks like an Efest cell for some reason.
 
What voltage are they sitting at?
