I don't have access to any 26650's myself, but, have assumed they are the same length as 18650, but 26mm in diameter?

That's great, thank you so much for taking the time to work on it and test fit. I will just order a couple of them from JLCPCB and see how everything fits. It might take a little bit before I can let you know how they turned out. Still need to source some springs and hardware. I think McMaster Carr might have what I need.

What material should I have these made in? There is a lot of different types on treatstock.com, like 5 different ABS types, 7 PLA's, PETG, Resins. I'm sure some are expensive, but some of the basic stuff wasn't too bad for $20.

What material should I have these made in?

I think pretty much anything will do, although I would avoid PLA as it starts to soften at a relatively low temperature, so may distort if you have a hot cell in there for too long. I printed all mine in basic ABS and they have been fine.
