A collection of like minded individuals in the pursuit of reclaiming energy storage devices to keep them from the landfills, to help build a community of individuals of various levels of knowledge in electronics/power-management in building their own power storage devices, alternative sources of energy other than relying on the Grid for 100%, electronics projects and upgrades of various degrees.

Ohhh, and to tell jokes and camp fire stories in the General Off-Topic section.

He say "...like minded individuals in the pursuit of reclaiming energy storage devices..." rather than saying crazy folks building huge batteries to run their house off of. The addiction part is an offshoot of this.
