To avoid confusion for @ebike.
A battery is made out of packs, a pack is made out from single cells.
A pack is basically a single cell, but not a battery.

:p

Your DIY LiFePO4 battery plan’s pretty solid, but here’s what to watch out for:

1. **Pick Modules**: Grab 5 modules from BHookup, keep the 4 with the closest cell balance. Make sure they’re legit.

2. **Charge to 3.65V**: That WISSBLUE charger should work and stop at 3.65V (double-check the manual). Use alligator clips, but clip ‘em tight to avoid shorts. Charge each duo separately to balance.

3. **Rest a Day**: Let ‘em sit for a day to settle. Good call.

4. **Wire in Series**: Solder ‘em in series with thick enough wire. Make damn sure the polarity’s right.

5. **Add BMS**: Slap on a 48V BMS to keep things safe. Pick one that handles your current and works with LiFePO4.

Looks good, just be careful and double-check connections. For more, check this: https://www.docanpower.com/BLOG-and-FEEDBACKS/industry-news/how-to-diy-a-lithium-battery-pack.
