Need to get your XBOX SX HDMI port replaced and can't find a new one... It's been found that the XBOX One HDMI works with a few tweaks, check out the video. The HDMI port I used can be found here on EBAY, Amazon or Aliexpress

To fit the HDMI in without needing to cut up the back of the case we took about 5mm off the plastic on a HDMI cable. Worked a treat.

Bunch of random images I took in the process of changing the port.

New HDMI port being test fitted with the rear legs trimmed to fit inside the hole.

Board level repairs frustrate me. Like @hbpowerwall I do computer repair and I used to struggle with replacing the power ports. Thankfully most today use a separate jack that plugs into the MB.

I found with the right tools it's much easier. Old ASUS laptops used to be very common, on the DC in jack.. stupid design but great for repair income lol

What is the reason you didn't trim the front of the legs on the replacement HDMI port (to move it further towards the rear of the board) to help line the HDMI pins up with the pads on the circuit board more easily?
