Motor exact specs

After very deep digging, I found the specs:

Motor specifications:
Brand: GoolRC
Type: 540 45T
Max voltage: 7.4V
Max current: 1.82A
RPM: 16500
Screw hole: 4 * M3
Shaft length: 12mm
Shaft dia: 3.17mm
Motor dia: 36mm
Motor length: 53mm

Also, found the ESC max specifications:
Size: About 35*30*15mm
Cont. Current / Burst Current: 60A / 320A
Motor Type: Brush Motor
Suitable Car: 1/10 Scale, Especially For RC Crawler
Battery: 2-3 Cells Lipo; 4-9 Cells NiMH

If anyone else has to do with thesem it's useful information; judging by the specs you can power the motor with decent normal current 18650s (no need for medium or high drain cells).
 
If you are going to do anything usefull get a better motor running of 3 wires/brushless instead of above brushed motor. Its a huge difference of what they can do. Above is a rather weak motor i would say.
 
I know, the info I needed is for someone that didn't know what to power it with.

I would opt for high current cells. To cater to the inefficiencies of the ESC and start current for the motor.
 
I partially agree, but the ESC itself if properly designed should not have any significant influence.
