Yep I got those too but found that the flat ones work better bigger handles and more grip and really tough.
I do still use what you showsometimes when needed.
Essentially sometimes it takes 2 or 3 different tools to make it work.
these hakko chp-170side snips you can find on ebay for 7 dollars work great, they get all the nickel strip off that needle nose won't get. The best tool to have. I had some a123 cells (200 cells)that was very slow going getting the nickel strip off, I actually stopped andordered the sidesnips and waited until they arrived to finish the job.
Like they say get the right tool for the job so you don't struggle. I wasn't sure if these cheap sidesnips were going to last, but a year later they arestill sharp and cutting excellent.
you will not believe what I use, namely a foot nail forceps. This is wonderful. with the flat side you can immediately hammer away the degree at the ends. so you only need one tool.
