Try an advanced search
Search text : "usr/bin/python"
Then try any of the return search links, 404, even though the pages exist.

Not Found

It's the Friendly URL plugin... I'll have to talk to Peter and see if we can get rid of it. It's starting to cause quite a few problems.

The plugin has been removed thus resolving the search bug
