Powerwall Mounting System

:huh: What material & thickness is used to make the mounting system. Is it Aluminium sheet 1.6mm thick? I am about to get a quote to have some made. Cheers.

Are you talking about the wall mounts from Peter? I used 14ga steel when I had mine fabricated. I think Peter's were 16ga - not entirely sure. I made mine thicker because of the added weight of using 6x20 packs instead of 4x20. I don't think Aluminum will be strong enough - need steel.

Thanks Mike for the reply, I am talking about the wall mounts.I wasn't sure & I would agree that steel would be stronger.I may have used the wrong gauge etc., as I may increase the pack size at a later date, dependent on my future needs. Will go to some local Sheet Metal Fabricatorshere in Adelaide& organise a fewquotes. Is there anyone else here in or around Adelaide, that may have done this already?
