Hey guys im new to battery building but recently aquired 2 GAIA lithium ion 576v 45ah batteries. There are a few dead cells so my plan is to try and reconfigure them into multiple 12 or 24v batteries for use in an off grid ambulance im building. Im am trying to figure out if the balace boards on top would potentially be reusable in that configuration. I dont have much knowledge concerning batteries so any thoughts or suggestions you might have would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Heres a link to some photos of the batteries and boards.

I'm not sure what it is you're working with there, but that voltage is extremely dangerous. I wouldn't even go near that unless I knew what I was working with. One mistake will be fatal.

The 160p1s.... label does suggest 576V.

If it's 576VDC then yeah full safety procedures here, insulated gloves, HV insulated tools, physical shields, etc.
Keep reading until you have a better understanding.
500VDC = no 2nd chance.
Slow & very careful dis-assembly.

Balance board unlikely to be suitable for 12/24V if built for 576V
