Portable pack. Recommendations on keeping dampening vibrations?

Hi, new this forum. Tried looking for an answer but couldn't find adequate answers. Hopefully someone here can provide some insight.

Planning out a portable4s60p setup. Probably to be used for emergency setups, RV or off roading.
Likely to have18650s soldered to a copper bus bar or a rod.

The worry here is keeping thepack from bouncing around in the case, and possibly doing damage to itself.

My current ideas are:

• Wrap the entire pack, and add foam padding on the outside. (Heat generation worries me)
• Add a rubber or insulating pad against the pack and case.
• Just add some foam because I'm overthinking things

Thoughts?

make sure the cells itself are firmly together. Then just make sure you have a sturdy outside and your kind of safe. The cells itself can take a beating as long as they dont goes against something sharp.

There are plenty commercial packs out there like Valence that have packs that sits in cars and other and they can take the beating without an issue.

Yes, the solution for this kind of problems is always a hardcase of some kind.
