Double fusing? Is it needed?

So, watching a vid from HP powerwall, he mentioned he was gong to start doing fusing on both neg and pos on his packs after someone had a handling incident.

I'm wondering if there's a need. Apart from a handling mishap which would be a short on the fusing end. Anyone else double fusing ?

I do it... but i do it because its easier to just use same wire on both sides. I dont do it because it makes it "safer" for mishaps

+Positive is that you get 1 more fuse in terms of safety. For instance dropping something you have both sides fused
+Same procedure on both sides
-Slightly more resistance
-fusing can take longer time than for instance spot welding tabs since you need to solder/spotweld the wire towards the cell and then make and solder the busbar.

The only reason i can think of to fuse only one side, is structurally....
This is why i use thicker wire on the negative side of my packs, to prevent the cells to rotate in the cellholders, and damage the thin fuse wires.

But themost important message hereis to fuse atleast one side... ;)
