I have been collecting hi drain cells from old drill batteries for a while.

By far the LGDAHA11865 are closest to original spec.

I also have SamsungINR18650-15Q but do get a number of dead cells in these packs

Finally, I have a good number ofSamsung INR18650-20Q SDIEM.

So here is the question, Can I mix the SDIEM cells in same pack as the other cells, or is it best to keep the SDIEM cells separated into their own packs?

That is, is there special charge or discharge characteristics to consider before combining these two technologies?

Thank-you

Look up the datasheet for these cells to find the voltage ranges.

But, overall, all powertool cells should be pretty close to the same as far as voltages. Capacities may be different, though.

You should be fine mixing them together. Just make sure that all parallel packs/sections are equal in overall capacity to the others before connecting them in series. This will minimize balance issues

Thank you

All cells are within 8% of each other in capacity so ballencing should be pretty standard

Yep. That is, tested capacity and not rated capacity, correct? Used cells you need to test them before guessing which order to put them in.

Yes each cell is individually tested and labeled so that I can latter use he pack builder tool.

Thank you
