Cleaver idea, however no idea how to implement

You have all the data in the user profiles "Storage Capacity: 65.71kWh " so it should be a relatively simple addition to the SQL call from the database as you will already be counting users per area :

SELECT Area, COUNT(Users) NumberOfUsers, SUM(StorageCapacity) TotalkWh FROM YourUserTable GROUP BY Area

You may have to link in an encoding table for the Area to provide aggregate data for state/country
Getting the storage data per user is no problem at all. It's generating the map, collecting locations, etc. After thinking about this some more, talking with Peter, and surveying what's out there in terms of existing MyBB plugins and mapping libraries, this is probably something that we're not going to do. We have a nice list of features/changes lined up that I think are more worthwhile investing time in, such as improving the image uploading tool and rewriting the cell counter to allow multiple cell types, configurations, more detailed statistics, etc.

We always appreciate the suggestions though.
