Anyone have an idear to why my P1 is so low? Still have the same voltage, but watt wise it's super low.

Bad connection? They are mounted in the same side of the roof, same angle and so on.

I had a wrong setting in the pip. So the PV inputs were super low and it's all fixed now. There are still some diffrence but not as much now.

Okay, it's starting to look a lot like ... a powerwall Big Grin I'm adding longmons to the packs atm. And I will also need to add a ACDC relæ after the inverter, to protect against electric shock. I got some elektronic equipment that need that.

Also got to test this out: The megacellcharger. It's pretty amazing and it really saves me for a lot of time, compared to my OPUS setup.

@WuggyBuggy.

My first goal/setup is 100kw.
10 x 14s100p.
So far i completed 2 x 14s100p.
3 x 14s100p are in the make and testing right now.
Hopefully done before Christmas.

That's nice mate. How do you test the complete 14s?

I dont test the whole 14s.
I test the single cells before i put them into a pack.

After making the packs, i put solder on the cells, without the busbars and fuses.
The second test device has also the purpose to find quickly the cells that possibly died got sick when soldering.
(After charging the whole pack to 4.2 volt again, i let them rest for 2 to 4 weeks.)
Those can be taking out before i solder the busbar and the fuses on.
After soldering the busbars and fuses, i put them to a capacity test, to make sure that all packs are the same in capacity.
So i can simply take out or add some cells.
After that stage i make sure they are at their proper "storage voltage".

Single cell testing:

Pack charging:

From left to right:
Pack charging from ~3.3v to 4.2v
After 2 to 4 weeks, I check the cells again on left voltige and ir.
Solder busbars and fuses.

Discharging from 4.2v to 4.0!
Second discharge after an hour from 4.0 to 3.0.
To get the total capacity, write the number down.
Third "station": charge back up for storage 3.3

After i accumulated all the numbers, i add or remove as many cells as necessary, to get the packs balanced to each other.

In case someone wonders:

The pack in the middle has silver wire soldered on the cells, i am waiting for my fuses.
The station is a real mess, still under construction, testing and some answers to questions still must be found, before i can/want to finish.

Best,

Thanks a lot man! Smile I'm pretty pleased with it myself.

Damn dude, that's massive test center you got going there. Wouldn't it be easier to build a DIY spotwelder? Or do you like the solder job?

@WuggyBuggy.
Thanks, indeed it has become a test centre, didn't realize. Blush
We spend so much time to test cells, why not a little extra time to avoid extra trouble?
After soldering 1 at 1000 cells has some trouble from the heat.
Probably its me that i put on the soldering iron to long, but some cells just don't want to let the solder flow.

To answer your question:
I have a hate/love relation with the soldering job.
I thought about a diy spot welder, but if you must repair a pack after 1, 2 or whatsoever years, you do more damage repairing the spot weld than by soldering.

I see my powerwall as a puppy, the more time you spend, the more time you gain.
As state before, spot welding now saves a lot of time, but when you must repair? I think there will be more damage.

Thanks.
