What is a serial connection and a parallel connection?
A serial connection is a set of cells connected by putting one of their negative and one of their positive terminal together. The result is increased voltage across their non-connected terminals, the absolute Positive/Negative ends.
A parallel connection is a set of cells connected by putting all of their negative terminals together and all of their positive terminals as well. The result is increased capacity and increase in current/amps across their commonly joined terminals.
This is 4 cells in series, or a 4s
This is 4 cells in parallel, or a 4p
