Recently tested a few of this (with white ring) and the capacity was above 2200mAh in many cases (used the LiiToKala lii-500)

I have been finding more and more of these cells lately, with purple ring allright, but with no "UR18650**" text whatsoever. There only is "SANYO R1112 N41B" on the sample I have on hand right now. The lenovo pack it came out from claims 11.1V and 48Wh nominal, which calculates to 2162mAh nominal for the cells.

Yep I have the same results with the LiitoKala  it reads at least 5% high.
If the IR of the cell is ≤55mΩ you will get good results

If 18 X 650 = 2200+mAh then we have power!
May all your Cells have an IR of 75mΩ or less Smile

Both the purple and white cells pictured above are UR1865A. We don't have any full-size pictures of the white-ringed cell though. If you have some of the cells, please consider taking pictures and submitting them here Smile
