Red, rectangular, tic-tac box like cells from slim Dell laptop batteries

Hi folks, any chance you could help me id those funky cells? I searched and searched but can't seem to find anythng online which would look remotely similar. They are roughly 50x35x10mm and what's weird about them is that unlike 18650s, it's the positive terminal that's connected to the body of the cell and the negative is isolated from the body.

By what it said on the tin (11.1v 3800mAh), I think those are pretty low capacity because only 1900mAh (6 cells - 3s2p). 

Did anyone come across them before?

Prismatic cells - very common, vaguely useful.

Thanks a ton, turns out they are reffered to as 103450 (10mm 34mm and 50mm) which makes sense. I agree on the usefulness, the shape is quite awkward and don't really sit well in typical chargers. Fortunately I only have 30 of them so I will test them and probably just put them to a side or make a small pack out of it to practise.

Actually, I've found these useful in replacing 3x alkaline AAA batteries, specifically used them in flashlights (laid 3x side by side).

An AAA battery is 10.5mm in diameter and 44.5 mm tall. If you take out the springs/terminals then the 103450 will fit nicely in the space with minimal plastic trimming.

a bit of dremel work and a tp4056.

Some very good suggestions here guys, I think what I will do is park those cells for the time being, there seems to be more potential in them than I initially thought and I can see them come in handy in situations when it'll be least expected.

I extracted some of that exact same aspect and color a few years back. I think I have them still stored somewhere. I'll look for them and measure their capacity, just out of curiosity.
