Hi from Uruguay!

Hello guys.

I am an engineering student based in Uruguay. Have always been curious about electronics, and more recently batteries. Possibly due to the fact that I have made a couple uav's and batteries are an important issue, and the growing electric industry is becoming everyday more predominant.

Knowing something about electronics, the moment I realized that people throw away their laptop batteries while (almost always) the are some cells that are still ok in the packs, I became interested in obtaining these kind of battery packs. I disassemble them, get the batteries, get the bms, and the cells that aren't any good I just dispose of them properly and recycle the pack's plastic.

I am still a noobie on this and I may have got a between a 100 and 200 batteries at home. This site has helped me a lot in getting information about the batteries I rescue, so thanks for that!

If there are any comments/advice you want to give, I am all ears.
