I'm mostly here to try to source parts from an iMiev/c-zero/ion. I've got one myself that's had a couple of the balance boards go. If you know anyone wrecking a battery who doesn't need the BMS boards, let me know!
Otherwise a mate and I have been occasionally doing the whole 'tear apart laptop batteries' routine and we've gathered ourselves a little pile to play with.
Hopefully I'll find something and get my car back on the road!
(P.S. You canuse a pack of 18650s to replace a failing cell in an EV, but it's definitely a band-aid solution. Ask me how I know
