need battery layoutfor 14s9p 52v 30ah 1500w rectangularbattery for 48v motor 35a controllor

Please read the FAQ located on the home page, and read other threads. There is lots of information already presented within the forum.

btw, 14s is NOT 52V, but considered to be 48V. Read the FAQ to find out more information.

have been researching this for weeks. 13s is 48v
V
3 11.1 V
4 14.8 V
5 18.5 V
6 22.2 V
7 25.9 V
8 29.6 V
9 33.3 V
10 37.0 V
11 40.7 V
12 44.4 V
13 48.1 V
14 51.8 V

14s is more like a 48vdc la battery in terms of bottom and top voltage.

But yes nominal of liion is 51.7v.

well, that's a little closer to 52v than 48v.
top voltage at 4.2v per cell would be 58.8v

I've only got a 48v 1500w motor, so I don't want to go any higher.

Even 4 Lead Acid batteries are not really 48V.

The typical charging voltage is between 2.15 volts per cell (12.9 volts for a 12V 6 cell battery) and 2.35 volts per cell (14.1 volts for a 12V 6 cell battery).

So:
11.1 * 4 = 44.4V (actually getting close to under-voltage conditions)
12.9 * 4 = 51.6V
14.1 * 4 = 56.4V

As you can see, "12V" batteries are also not "48V" when 4 are in series.

Again, 14s for lithium is closer to the "48V" range of lead acid. Especially if you only charge them to 4V (56V) and drain to 3.2V (44.8V). It's fits relatively well. Far better than 13s.

This is fine for normal current cells. high drain cells will have 3.6V as reference, not 3.7, so your values will differ slightly. At 14s you are already minus 1.4V from your current table.

So if you replace lead acid, you should use 14s for 48V equivalent, not 13s, as Korishan said.
