10kW Hybrid Inverters
#31
Daniel a question for you...
With the MPP inverter, what happens if you use more than 3.33kW on 1 phase, does it shut down the whole inverter?

It complains and beeps like crazy. IF you go over somewhere between 3.6-4kw it switches to grid. Above 4... It djurs down Making output 0. Though you can push 5kw for 1 second but thats max.

All mpp producs is max rating mentioned. Victron as example mention nominal. So a 6kw victron is actually better than a 10kw mpp Smile kind of

Smile  I'll be interested in the opinions too (as long as they're un-biased)  Smile

We know the Voltacon units are from the Voltronic Power manufacturing plant but as Daniel has said before, you have to consider each reseller on their own merits because each resellers products are often built with slightly different specs to others.

This company does seem to do very quite competitive pricing considering its UK based. They are the cheapest place I found for Victron equipment too. I'm probably going to regret bringing up the "Victron" name, damn it Smile
