Hello,

Any plans to add discourse support for this forum?

No. What is that, it looks like a separate forum software?

I think he might mean Discord.

And no, for the forum officially, there is no server. I do run a server where we do talk about battery related topics, but that's a small portion of the conversations. And if anyone from SLS comes to the Discord to ask about their project, we do ask for those people to please update the forum with their information as well. We are not a replacement for the forum.

I actually meant Discourse Smile
This is a new platform for forums. The beauty of it, is that u use one Discourse app for all your forums.

I don't see the need for Discourse. And that video was really annoying, imho. No visual examples what he's talking about.

Anyways, this forum has a mobile friendly interface. Both the mobile and standard version are easy to navigate and find things. People are spread out all over the world, so setting up any kind of meetings would basically be pointless, at the forum level. There are other platforms like Skype, Zoom and others that can do that.

There is no need for such addons in a forum. That is a good option if you own a website with no forum and want to allow comments. No use in an actual forum.
