I live in the US (California with PGE and net metering) and finding a split phase capable inverter that meets my requirements has been tricky.

Currently the house has a 6kw Solar Edge inverter and a sub panel that would be my "essential loads"
I am looking to add battery storage and back up power.

So, I would want
-automatic transfer switch
-ability to control solar output with AC frequency control
-6 kw of battery charging to absorb solar output before frequency control can adjust solar output if grid is lost when solar is kicking out max current
-48 volt battery would be ideal, but not required, could be 24

Plus, with the inverter in my hot garage, it needs to be ok at or over 100f

It seems like all Victron units derate heavily at these ambient temperatures.

I think my best option is a Schneider Conext XW Pro

I would also need a power distribution panel and conext gateway, so that adds another $1100 onto the parts list.

What do you think? I can't find much information on these Schneider inverters when searching forums. The manufacturer's info looks like it will work for me.

I have one area on this inverter that I can't quite figure out: BMS communication I was looking at Batrium or diybms v4, I haven't done enough research on the diybms. It looks like there is no communication connection other than the webportal.

Thank you for your input!

I was going to include these links in the original post, but because it was my first post on this forum I had to remove them.

If you want specs on the Schneider inverter:
