Hi everyone; I am making a prototype of a new e-bike with 26800 Li cells inserted into 31.7 mm tubes. The format will be 18S1P, and the cells will be wrapped in a thermal phase change material (tpcm). At nominal 3.6v and 6800ma, looking for ~ 400 wh.
Initially, I will be testing this system in a bike frame bag on my kluged together e-bike with its controller and motor. If all goes well, I can step it up for insertion into the tubes.
I am a frame-builder as well, and have high strength tube couplers built in to allow for battery insertion.
Any constructive thoughts will be appreciated.
